Racing Planner reads the whole published programme, works out which races each horse in your yard is actually eligible for, and ranks them by how well they fit. Months ahead, with the entry deadlines attached.
Eligibility, done properly
Age, sex, rating bands, maiden and novice status, cross-code rules. If a horse cannot enter a race, it never appears against its name. If it can, it does, including the ones you would not have gone looking for.
Ranked by fit, not by hope
Each race is rated on class, trip, ground and freshness against that horse’s own record. You set how much each of those counts, and every rating on the page recalculates as you move the sliders.
Deadlines you cannot miss
Entry and declaration dates sit beside every race, counted from today. The yard view tells you which horses need a decision this week and which can wait.
It reads your diary. It physically cannot move anything in it.
Everything above works from public form data. Connecting your Racing Admin account adds the rest of the picture: your unraced horses, and your official marks exactly as the BHA holds them rather than the rating each horse last carried.
That connection is read-only by construction, not by promise. The software has no code path that can make, amend, withdraw or scratch an entry, and every request it makes is logged. Change your Racing Admin password and the link dies instantly. Entering a horse stays your job, in your own account, as it always was.
